About

Today, many of our beliefs with regards to the future are being shattered and disintegrated. At senscommon, we design lifestyles for those of us moving with the times - fully aware of how unpredictable and relentlessly challenging our future is.

In this ever-shifting present, we are taking a clear stance on the value system guiding our common sense approach to design. We want to showcase the positive impact modern and optimised forms of clothing can have in your daily engagement with the world.

Our value system is built upon the following three concerns:

01 — wellbeing
02 — purpose
03 — responsibility

Design for wellbeing. senscommon tackles the notion of wellbeing by considering how clothing, comfort, and care can encourage our natural behaviour and reward the senses. We begin by incorporating tactility, pressure, as well as temperature management into products that will influence how we perceive the environment through our skin. senscommon designs for emotional wellbeing and values it on the same level as aesthetics and functionality.

Design with purpose. By addressing our specific, modern-life routines, senscommon creates a new tier of products that are representative and responsive to the constant flux of changes tomorrow may bring. Through this approach to design and state-of-the-art construction gleaned in the founder's past working for haute-couture brands, most senscommon products are new shapes - the so-called “in-between” pieces that fit in any wardrobe. senscommon takes gender, season, and other obsolete categorisations out of the equation to focus on smart garment solutions that help us better perform in our day-to-day life.

Design responsibly. Sustainability and innovation go hand in hand at senscommon, where all products are ideated from smart materials outwards. senscommon selects fabrics not for their aesthetic value, but for their performance attributes, and relies on close collaboration with forward-thinking manufacturing partners to optimise existing industry standards. This is all done to improve the quality and longevity of our wardrobes, demanding less maintenance, and allowing for wear on limitless occasions, thus reducing the environmental impact of the clothing industry.
